About your teacher Mariano

Mariano graduated in 2001 in Journalism & Communication (HU) and studied History at the University Utrecht (UU, 1997-1998). He got his certification Maestro de Tango Argentino in Buenos Aires in 2003 (Escuela Argentina de Tango). Mariano started learning tango in the early '90s as a teenager with his parents Lalo y Mirta, with Antonio Todaro and with Pepito Avellaneda y Gilda Suzuki.

About your teacher Cosima

Cosima is certified physical therapist (TvdL, graduated 2005) and exercise therapist Mensendieck-Cesar (HvA, graduated 2001), lymfedrainage therapist (HvA, 2003), Sportmassage (TvdL, 2005). She studied tango violin at Conservatorium of Rotterdam (Codarts) during one year (1996-1997). She got her certification Maestra de Tango Argentino in Buenos Aires in 2003 (Escuela Argentina de Tango). Cosima started learning tango in the late '90s as a teenager with various teachers, and in 2001 with Lalo y Mirta and Mariano.

Tangokurs für Tanzpaare

Teachers: Mariano & Cosima (for couples)

Improvisation, Verbindung, Musikalität. Dieser Kurs ist geeignet für Tanzpaare die gerne spielen mit der Musik und die Variationen. Wir machen viele tolle Übungen für die Verbindung im Paar und die Improvisation und Stil.

Wir schicken jede Woche die Aufnahme des Unterrichts, und du kannst es so oft zurück schauen wie du willst. Wenn du nicht live online mitmachen kannst, dann kannst du den Unterricht auch mit dem Aufnahme lernen.

Tango for Leaders  ♀ ♂

Teacher: Mariano (for leaders)

This Tango for Leaders course is created by Mariano for tangodancers who wish to improve balance and posture, feel more comfident in their movements, accurate footwork, and who wish to learn and practice unique embellishments.

Posture, Balance, Body Awareness, Technique, Sequences, Musicality for leaders. In each class we start with a small full-body warming up. Then we train the balance, free leg, transfer of weight, pivots and rotations. We continue with working on a special sequence for leaders, that we fit to the music.

You get the recording after each class, and watch it back as often as you like. If you can not attend live at this day/time, you can join the class with the recording.

Followers Technique ♀ ♂

Teacher: Cosima (both roles)

In this Followers Technique course we focus on the technique. If you have never joined my online classes before, this is the course to start with. If you have been taking lessons with me online for many years and you love to improve your technique, this class is also for you!

We do not only work on Tango technique, but also sometimes short elements of milonga and vals, because these two dances require a different technique in some cases. 

This solo training is especially created by Cosima for tangodancers who wish to practice their technique: precision, musicality, footwork, balance, posture and creative combinations. You train both roles, and we explain the similarities and differences for leaders and followers.

Follower Musicality Styling ♀ ♂

Teacher: Cosima (followers)

In this Follower Musicality Styling training, we focus on how to play with the music and how to interpret the music as a follower. This course is created by Cosima for solo tangodancers who wish to improve balance and posture, feel more free in their movements, accurate footwork, and who wish to learn and practice unique embellishments.

Balance, Body Awareness, Technique, Sequences, Musicality, Style and Embellishments for followers. In each class we start with a small full-body warming up. Then we train the balance, free leg, transfer of weight, pivots and rotations. We continue with working on a special adorno, that we fit in a small mini-choreography, and we finish each class with a stretch & cooling down.
